Kathy Yates is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® with experience teaching students of all ages with a range of challenges including chronic pain, neurological issues, and anxiety. One of Kathy’s greatest pleasures is to guide students in discovering new strategies—and seeing them enjoy the process.

Kathy has worked in the field of movement and voice for over 25 years as a teacher, dancer, and actress. Kathy has taught classes and workshops at health clubs, JCC Manhattan, The Feldenkrais Institute (Now Physical Therapy and Feldenkrais), Montclair State University, an the Writer’s Gym. She has been on the staff of The Feldenkrais Learning Center, NY, and the Field Center Children’s clinic.

Her continuing education includes: Kinesthetic Anatomy with Irene Dowd; Anat Baniel Method for Children, now Neuromovement®; close supervision working with children at The Field Center Children's Clinic with Sheryl Field plus advanced trainings; Tellington TTouch® for people and their Companion Animals; Reiki II practitioner
